I have to disagree with the comment about the building. Even though the detail is quite soft, I can see the worn look and the statue standing there. The longer crop makes me follow her eyes, it gives the photo a very, very introspective feeling . Sort of stealing a glance back at the past, while she is starting to move away. The tilt of her had matches the angle of the windows as the move back down the building. There is a wonderful symmetry to the photo. And the atmosphere is so quietly moody. I love the little red details, they are just about my favourite part image, an intriguing little splash of colour and I feel it even adds a little mystery as well. There are a lot of other great details and nuances, like the framing and the crop, but I’ll leave them for now. I’ll just say I think this is my favourite photo you’ve done so far. Really, really nice. :)
